Some more Halo 3 stuff i discovered while laming around on easy, since i pretty much got owned by legendary flood on cortana.

-Before the scarab appears in "The Storm" (best before you destroy the last anti-air), get to the guided missile turret. Do NOT press B. Then, when the Scarab descends, aim for its butt cover that will reveal its power core. Start blasting missiles at it, and do not stop until the scarab rotates (so that you lose the lock on its butt plate). The power core will be destroyed as well, and its a quick scarab down. (You can get the achievement "Too close to the Sun" by blasting one of the Banshees out of the sky as well)

-You can get TWO spartan lasers from the mission "The Covenant". The second one is near where the pelican crashed (see the opening sequence).

-By killing the Arbiter in the 3rd Tower in the Covenant, and swapping any weapon for his energy sword, you can make the Arbiter become a missile battery (fuel rod, rocket), or laser turret (spartan laser). Its particularly useful later on, where you need to breach the Citadel. As far as i know, the Arbiter doesnt really bother to whack with his Grav Hammer, so dun bother giving it to him.

-There's a shortcut (of around 15 seconds) in the last part of the mission "Halo". Simply ignore the waypoint, and keep to the left (avoiding the hole in the middle; avoid the ramp as well).

-There's a rocket launcher in the crashed plane (after the first terminal) in the Ark. Not particularly useful, since you can get mass fuel rods.

-Fuel Rod shells actually arc downwards. It is also possible to bounce the Fuel Rod shells off walls or the floor.

-Plasma cannons down Hunters pretty fast.

-Maulers are imba (in custom game mode), since a dual-wield headshot is fatal.

-Try landing on the Covenant ship (using hornet) in the Covenant. When it lifts off, have fun for 15 secs until you drop off and die.

-Throw fire grenades at a Hunter's back. Watch as orange juice flows out constantly.

-Listen to what your teammate says when you flip a Mongoose (as in drive until it flips over).

-Shortcut (or bug) in The Storm; i shot down a banshee, and drove it to the AA Gun. If you get hit by the AA Gun (by stupidly flying into the way), you'll fly off pretty far (i flew from there to the scarab place).

-With the skull "Whos your daddy" or sth like that, one of the Elites will mention that he(?) has a daughter called Cheryl when you pass him a weapon. Seriously!
